Boas

Hogg Island Boas- Hogg Island boas are a smaller island boa with most adults ranging between five and six feet. Originating from the Cayos Cochinos Islands they have a much lighter color than there Colombian relatives and will change color depending on lighting and temperature. We have several different lines of Hogg Islands; Klingenberg, Sears, and a line from animals imported in the late eighties and first bred here.

We had our first litter of the season born 6/29/10

Colombian Boas- Colombian boas are a bigger heavier bodied boa than the Hogg Islands above but the many genetic traits make it a rewarding boa to keep. With adult females often reaching eight feet plus and pretty good girth they need good sized enclosures and will eat larger food items.
